Now onto the good stuff….
Judy is beautiful because she is…..NATURAL & DOWN TO EARTH. Judy is my friend Eric’s wife. But she’s my friend, too. I like her because she is so real. She doesn’t put on airs or try to impress anybody. She is always welcoming and friendly.
I always liked visiting Judy and Eric because I always felt welcome – like part of the family. Even though I didn’t see them very often, I would walk in and immediately be comfortable. We could sit in the middle of the kitchen on the tiny tot table and chairs and play games. It was grand. They are some of the most fun memories.
I always told Eric he got the better end of the deal with Judy – but I think I did, too – when I got to know her and learned so much about being cool, fun, open, and honest. I also learned from her the beauty of living simply. Judy is the essence of simple elegance and fun living – I think of her and the darling house they had in Fremont, when I think of my dream house. I want an adorable bungalow with land around to get dirty, have BBQ’s and outdoor parties, and grow plants and trees.
Judy makes everything seem so enjoyable – raising kids, putting on parties, having garage sales…ALL of it. And I know that she does all this while having a full-time career and raising two wild boys plus a crazy husband. AND she does volunteer work – she’s a wonder woman if I ever knew one. I want to be like her when I grow up.
I have to say Judy is one of the most likeable people I know. I really do miss her but know she is probably running Denver with a smile and helping everyone in her path. She cares about the environment and her community. She’s quite a gal.
Judy – happy birthday! You’ve left a lasting impression on my life. Here’s to you…and many, many more!
