We loved Papa O's. The food was delicious and the entertainment , terrific. Thanks for all your hard work and hospitality to the folks in Capitola and especially to our daughter, Kristin, and her hubbie, Rob.

Good luck in the future.

I didn't know Cheryl had written to you. I feel privilaged and honored to have met such people as yourself and Rob. I am also glad to have been able to provide that little bit of respite that we all occassionally need, at our restaurant. That was our purpose: to supply people with a place to have conversation, relax and enjoy each others company. Conversation is fast becoming a lost art form. While offering food was one the main objectives, seeing people enjoying themselves was the other and we certainly experienced that as well.

Your letter to us was such a validation that we had accomplished what we had set out to do and was certainly wonderfully written. I almost want to send it to the Goodtimes and the Sentinel. I just want to say thank you two for your Presence in our lives. Have a merry Christmas and a good holiday season.....the universe has many poossibilities to offer...you never know what may show up!!

Dear Kristin -- first of all let me say you are a fabulous writer! Do you write for a living? If not you should consider being a food critic -- your descriptions are incredible and colorful. But most of all we are so very grateful for the kind words and support you have given to Owen and I over the past two years. We are so glad that you found enjoyment at our little place. We leave with very mixed emotions of course. We have enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people with such interesting and colorful backgrounds -- like a checkered humanity quilt. It feels like such a loss to be leaving so many wonderful people. Who knows what will happen next. We have a lot of work ahead of us and we really are open to new and exciting possibilities. I just want you to know how much we have appreciated the thoughtful article you wrote about us. It is indeed gratifying to know what Owen (especially him) and I have put our hearts into has reaped such a wonderful response. Many blessings to you and Rob. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Cheryl
